One Child at a Time…
How we function:
We select schools that are in remote areas or villages where the schools have been set up by missionaries or village authorities. The schools are identified based on the location of the economically weaker zone and authenticity of the established institution. We then approach the school and work with them on helping the children.
A Local Committee is formed with respectable persons from the locality of the school to understand what Eleazer Trust does and to help in the selection and mentoring of the students. The members of the school may be Head Master/ Teacher/ Pastor/ Members of Village Council/Authorities/ individuals et cetera.
The students who are to be sponsored are considered under two categories – the economically weak students (who consisted of the majority) and merit-based aptitude in the student to encourage them towards excellency. The students to be sponsored are identified and the required amount is worked out, Then the amount is remitted to the bank account of the school with the relevant information to the Head Master of the school and parents of the students.
How to participate:
There are two ways you can be a part of the current mission.
You can donate what ever you feel right
or
You can begin by sponsoring a child. Undertake the responsibility of a child and help them out to the extent that you can. We will mediate between the child and you, you can in fact have the chance to directly interact with the Principal of the school or the parents. You will receive the child’s progress reports, events, changes and all other updates.
Come let us walk together to bring smiles to the young students!
